tea time
during a family shoot the other night i snapped a few pictures of this cute little girl. she was all dressed up to have a little tea party with her cousins & i thought her outfit was just darling.
{the last one was a bit out of focus but i liked it anyways!}

baby liv
yesterday i stopped by a friend's house to visit & snap a few pictures of her little girl, liv. she is 9 months old & so sweet. i realized that taking baby pictures isn't an easy task, especially at 9 months! she just wanted to play and wiggle around in the grass the whole time.
here are a few shots of liv.
{this was my first time photographing a baby & i am determined to get better at it!}
isn't she so cute?? thanks, kacie!
{p.s. i am aware that many of these pictures seem slightly out of focus or blurry. i've been researching & have realized that some of my settings are causing this! so my next mission is to play with the settings to get the background blurry but my subjects crystal clear.}

nanny adventures
for the past 3 weeks i got a true taste of motherhood - i spent 10 hours each day caring for, entertaining & singing and dancing with the cutest 2 year old baby girl. from coloring and snack time to laughing so hard that she needed a new pair of undies :) we had a blast together.

Daily drawing - she loved sharks |
parents, & especially mothers, truly are heros. i have no idea how they do what they do each day for their children. i was able to talk to my mom one day while yaara was napping and i confessed to her how impressed and in awe i was by everything that she did for my sister and me while we were growing up. working mothers & stay@home moms are equally amazing - a mother's job is never ending. cooking, cleaning, children...wow. hardest job there is.
so thank you, mom & dad!
although i miss little yaara, i have to say that i do not miss driving to park city every day. I {LOVE} park city, as well as the drive up there, but commuting is tiring & only wastes precious hours in the day.
until next time...
